Rajasthan State divided in many district now. But historicaly divide in 7 rigions- Marwar, Shekhawati,Mewar,Dhundar,Mewar,Gorwar wagar and Sekhawati rajasthani language polarized according to region. Traditions, lifestyle and land also different among every region.

Marwad

People of is mosty honest and respect others having rich culture,ttradition.the rigion have desert and semi desert area. Rural people depend on agriculture and animal husbandry.
We can feel affinity with strangers only in Marwar region. People always share happy moments with others.

Costumes

Marwd have rich traditions. Often in Jodhpur appears rigional traditions during market walk. Woman wears long skirt" lahnga or ghagra" with hip sized top wears and veil. Woman use gold jewellery at forehead ear nose and neck. Usually silver jewellery used in leg in marwad. Man wears dhoti ( unstitched recungalr cloth)kurta (long shirt)and turban.
